In the book of John, we read this promise from Jesus to those who follow him: “Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:13-14
Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it… that is a radical promise that most of us struggle to believe at times. Not only does God hear us, but he promises to answer us. As a church we want to grow in praying together as a community, believing God’s promises, and in faith looking for him to work in the life of our church.
The monthly time of prayer is a simple way we seek to gather together faithfully and consistently in bringing our requests to God. Each Sunday we gather we pray through requests that individuals in our church have placed on our prayer board. We hope that as we gather, prayer will become a source of life for our church community.
